I love the continental market which comes to Fargate in Sheffield city centre every year, you can buy all sorts of lovely stuff. I bought some lavender and sempervivum plants. Anyway, I've visited it a few times over this weekend, and I've noticed that on all of these gloriously bright and sunny days, many stalls have decided to string up light bulbs - why?! It isn't dark, there's so much sunshine and the days are long at the moment. Admittedly, many of them are the energy-saving bulbs, but they still use around 11w per bulbs, and not everyone was using them. It just seems like a silly waste of electricity... Don't get me started on outdoor heaters!! I am going to write to Sheffield City Council about this (they organised it) to find out what's going on here! Besides the wanton waste of electricity, aren't these pretty beads? :-)

On Sam ... "Sam runs SaltFree Divers in Chepstow. Britain's deepest freediving outdoor venue. Sam loves swimming in the freezing cold lake, but we managed to coax her into the pool today by telling her we'd turned all the heaters off and opened all the windows. She has represented the UK many times in World Championship events, and has taught many UK freedivers to dive." by Love Jooce
