Hi, I'm Heather Kramer. Let me start by telling you about myself.  I am a Certified Life Coach (CLC) through Expert Rating Global Certifications, I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomsburg University, and completed 2 years of Graduate study in Counseling Psychology.  I am also a member of the International Association of Professional Life Coaches.   As your coach, I will help you explore new ways to reach a sense of calm in your life.  Anxiety has many different faces. It is my goal to take this journey with you, together we will break you free from this anxiety and find new pathways to relaxation and happiness. I will be here to help you in your committed action towards your goal through email sessions.

 

You might be wondering what happens during a life coaching session.  First, we will meet once every 2 weeks through Email. Each session will be custom tailored to you based on your individual needs. In the beginning, we will discuss what you are committed to accomplishing through our work together and we will begin to create a plan to achieve those goals. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Approach which examines how your negative thoughts affect the way you feel. It is not the situation you are in that determines how you feel, but it is how you react to that situation. The idea is that if you change the way you think, you can change the way you feel.  We may also use Guided Imagery, Meditation, Visualization, Mindfulness, Anchoring (based on the program you choose), and Exposure therapy.

 

My 3 email correspondence programs are offered through E-coaching which is coaching conducted through emails. As an E-coaching Life Coach, I will send you a session email once every 2 weeks with a 1x/week check-in email to see how you are doing. During this check-in, you can ask any questions or send your reply to my session email for that week. I will give you homework to work on between sessions. I also offer unlimited email support with me during your program. 

 

Benefits of E-coaching

For some people, the written word is the way they think. They like the time to ponder exactly what they want to say, and the time to digest what's been said. They can extract all of the meaning from the text - read and re-read. File for later and re-visit. In the process of reading and writing, they can find full understanding and gain new insights.

  • You're never "on the spot". You can think things through at your leisure.
  • ·Unlike phone coaching - you can keep your coaching emails for future reference.
  • ·You can print out your emails or put them in your PDA, then ponder them on the train, in your lunch hour or in the tub.
  • · E-Coaching is very low pressure and relaxed.
