Do you want to reduce your household’s carbon footprint or lower your water usage (saving money)? This event will provide you with information, customized to Piedmont, about how to start your conservation-related home improvement projects and how to use other people’s money to finance much of it.

Keynote at 7 p.m. by Cisco DeVries,
President & CEO of Renew Financial, innovator of the concept of Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE). Overview of financing options and new developments.
7:30-8:10 and 8:15-8:55 p.m. Choose two 40-minute sessions from 3 opportunities:
1. Solar: Figuring out the feasibility of solar for your home, navigating the sea of options for installation & financing. Speakers: Mel Burns, Energy Concierge at Domino, an Oakland-based service helping homeowners make the switch to clean energy, and Pete Shoemaker, Renewables Program Coordinator at PG&E Pacific Energy Center.
2. Home Performance & Energy Upgrade California: Making your home more energy efficient and comfortable. Speaker: Royal Huey, Green Pro Network. Plus contractors will be available to answer questions.
3. Water Conservation: Significantly reducing your water usage in both home & garden, through improvements such as Laundry to Landscape. Speaker: Tony Madrone, sustainable landscape designer who specializes in irrigation and water management with Indra Designs.
