The the game from the TCEC that ended in controversy was the adjudication of the queen versus two bishops as a win, even though the mate is longer than the 50 move rule and Basic Chess endings thinks it is a draw.  Mark Weeks, in his blog, chessforallages.blogspot.be entry for December 12, explains why the adjudication was correct.

  GM Topalov gets into as many tactical melees as any player out there.  The problem with being a tactical guy at the London Classic is that your opponents are likely to have similar ability.
