Plants in the biome

Plants specific to the coniferous area: Ever green tree, ferns, black spruce trees, poison ivy, larch trees, mushrooms.


















Other plants found in the coniferous area: Fire wood, mosses, poison oak, aspen trees.















Soil conditions in this biome: soil has high moistures holding capacities and are often completely saturated. 








    All of these plants are extremely important in this biome because it makes the coniferous forest what it is today.  Without these special features the biome would not be able to have the animals and the special features that it has today.
