Here's a hint on how to lay linoleum tile in an octagonal room: Get a hammer. Take the hammer, and hit yourself in the head with it. HARD. When you come to, hire a professional. Truth be told, it did come out pretty nice, but what a HUGE pain in the ass getting all the angles cut, and don't even get me started on the tiles that required multiple irregular cuts. It took us about an hour to lay all the interior (full) tiles. The cut tiles around the edge of the room, on the other hand, took 7 hours, working on our hands and knees.
