The Model UN Club is a club open to everyone that focuses on modeling the debate of the United Nations in order to solve global problems. As a club, we go to two to three conferences a year in which we debate with other schools about the best solutions to pre-determined conflicts and/or issues. This club will involve work over the course of the year which requires effort, but should be able to fit any student's schedule with the right time management. Members are expected to come to our weekly meetings after school, normally on Monday, which last between 15 to 30 minutes, with some longer meetings existing to discuss and plan our conferences. We will also be running various mock debates ourselves that we will let everyone know about in advance. Despite these obligations, it is a very fun and informative club with a very uplifting atmosphere.
