Conant Career Advisor

Career Advisory Program

Words for Thought

The next step you take, while important, does not have to determine the rest of your life.  Change your mindset.  See what you can learn and how you can leverage each experience to benefit your next opportunity.  Every experience you have shapes the person you will be.  Careers are sometimes a twisted path filled with bumps and wrinkles but can be a very fun journey.

Explore your interests & opportunities!

The Career Advisory Program, offered through Student Services, provides students with opportunities to explore their career interests and better prepare themselves for post-high school planning.  The program offers Career and College Major ExplorationTreks, Career Speakers, assessment, and assistance with career research.

Conant High School students are fortunate to benefit from the partnership between District 211 and the Northwest Educational Council for Student Success (NECSS).  The mission of which is to prepare students for success in a global economy through aligned college and career pathways.
Can you help?

As a working parent of a Conant student, you are a valuable resource!  Are you willing to host a Career Trek or be a Career Speaker?  Would you like to volunteer some time to help in the Small Business Incubator Classroom? Your participation could directly affect a young person's choices in a very positive way!
