The Computers West Linux Group meets every Friday, year round, from 08:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Palo Verde Room

Linux is an operating system just as Windows is an operating system. Similar but slightly different from Windows. Apple MacIntosh also has its own operating system but both Apple and Windows cost dollars. Linux is FREE!! Additional software from Windows comes at a price but Linux software is FREE. Linux and Macintosh are secure but Windows is not. Linux has no record of virus infection whereas you must buy a virus protection program for Windows. The Linux distribution that we teach (Linux Mint) is simple and easy to learn. Come to a Friday meeting  to see what it is all about..
