Dear Chess Friends,

Here is a new data about some engine similarities!Note that not often but sometimes I run these testings...E.g another testing (based on older eng vers) ResultsAnd all current similarity results generated via Simex 2
1st of all, actually I assume that,Many of us are aware what is going on...but anyhowFor anyone who is beginner, interested..etc. enjoy..!)
Meanwhile and to be honest, if I am looking for 100% original chess engine, thenSimply I have to be out of Computer chess testings....Yes...nowadays it's hard to find 3500+ Elo engine to beBased mainly on own ideas....On other hand, I test them..But I prefer SF based ones.(e.g not IPPO) I like honest...And as I stated earlier, my organized SF based tours areLike older Chessmaster settings tours...no more no less )Otherwise I have to be very naive about to call all enginesAre 100% original..ok too many comments.) and let's seeWhich are more close and similar to each other.
More DetailsHere many more similarity results, you can all DownloadAll of the NNUE engines are played via default Evalfiles Exception, SF180820MZ is tested as NNUE disabled...
Final WordsNot sure exactly.. but perhaps in my next 3600+ Elo tour..,I will test only the ones, which come with different EvalfilesAnd the ones, which are less than 70% or 65% (in similarity)Because mostly of the Top NNUE engines are quite similar!E.g the current similarity test indicates that many many areBased mainly on Stockfish.ideas...it seems SF is real 'mother'Sure if with so high similarities, then we'll see too many draws)Btw, pity that some blame the short openings as draw reason...What about if I say (via optimal cond. e.g strong openings etc.):: Yes..since NNUE on scene....the HIGH-draws are on scene too!Exc. via weaker openings or engines..we can reduce the draws!
And I should not forget to mention also that,You may know, my tours are different than all, so I like to seeDifferent playing styles as well.. and sorry...otherwise I can't...Actually I can talk more, but not required...the picture is clear)
Not so clear? if so...let me say please this great saying:
Small minds discuss people. Average minds discuss events. Great minds discuss ideas.
