Dear Chess Friends,
As usually, I'm pleased to announce that,
A new idea is born: running opening testings!
Note that
The idea is born during SCCT GUI/Engine Testings II
In other words,
The target is to see the influence in case of testing via other openings!
E.g in recent GUI/Engine testings I used to play Balsa and Perfect books
And now simply I realized to use UHO_2022_8mvs_big_+170_+199 suite
I picked occasionally this suite version, because there are more in the folder
And probably I am not going to test other suites, because no much free time..
To be more clear
Now you will have chances to see what is going on... actually many times
I stated that the openings play very important role about any engine strength!
And in case of using weak openings, then thousands games are required...
Even though...there is no any guarantee..I mean about the right Elo points!
That's why as usually I strongly recommend to be used well-tuned openings!
Otherwise (without any serious tuning over opening suites), what is the point?
Then of course...unfortunately we will see such results that never seen before...
On other hand, actually it all depends,
If we are looking for fun...yes...it is better to be used critical, weak openings..
In this way, mostly games will be ended as win.. not so much boring for sure)
And sorry to say that, these kind of testings via weak openings are as lottery...
Because in case of close Elo engines: no BIG chances to see the real strength!
But if our target will be to run serious, right testings... then no comments !)

Some statistics (based on 4224 games per opening test suite):Via UHO: 538 wins (that's too much) recorded...ended up to 35 movesUHO's overall draw percentage is very low: 18% yes...this is not as joke!Mostly of the overall played games (81%) ended as wins for Whites sideBlacks managed to win just 1% and 18% of the rest games ended drawsReally strange stats and mismatch numbers, I expected...but not so much!
Via Balsa: only 14 wins (acceptable) recorded... ended up to 35 movesBalsa's overall draw percentage is high 89% and as usual I'm accustomed )Whites are managed to win 8%, and where the Blacks managed to win 3%...İt seems Balsa stats are normal, because the testings are as NNUE 3700+
After all, what does it mean ? a lot...at least for my side...in short, Via Balsa openings: it's extremely safe !! and better draw, than to lose! Not so clear?) then better correct points than incorrect...hope helps...
And I hope too, All the current opening results to be useful, sure we need more of them, But anyhow, at least now we have some new data to compare, to learn..!
