*Perfect 2016 opening books release notes:

• Based on short openings, played mainly in SCCT (by chess engines average 3300-3500 Elo)

• Each opening line is carefully hand tuned (it’s highly optimized for engine matches)

• Perfect 2016 includes various openings, recommended to be used for tournaments, ratings…

• No openings with winning percentage to be bellow 50 % for Whites and bellow 40% for Blacks

• Book’s Depth is mainly up to 8 moves (exception for a few lines, which are up to 9/10 moves)

• Fritz GUI's Book Settings: Default (optimized 3/35), but however almost all lines are up to 8 moves

• For book settings under Arena and ShredderClassic GUIs, please check the screenshots…

• I've spent nearly 15 years period of time for the optimization of the current opening books

• Before final release, mostly of the lines are tested with more than 1.000.000 SCCT games (since 2002)

• For more various openings, also for better way to determine the engine's strength, it’s recommended:

- All engines to be played with same opening book (Perfect 2016)

- With Book Learning ON (under Fritz, ShredderClassic GUIs)

* In case of Book Learning ON: Each chess engine should use separately copy of Perfect 2016 book
