More Details

• The ranking is a good indicator of which are best ones in opening knowledge

• All engines analyzed with 600 positions, available for downloading: OTS v3

• Each opening is carefully checked, as reference is used Top engine games

• The opening suite contains various positions, played mainly in SCCT tours

• In short, no double positions and no any book is used (during analyzing...)

• All of the postions are solved by the current engines (no any unsolved...)

• As best move (bm) is selected the move with highest winning percentage

• The official OTS ranking includes only strongest (best) engine versions

• All participated engines are up to 55% in similarity, exception there is for:

- Only one X based engine, in case of +10 points better than the original one

* E.g, Raubfish x37e1 (Analysis_ICC ON, Null Move Heuristic OFF) succeed...

* Btw, those engines, which could not qualified can be viewed: Standings

• The Top 5 chess engines are tested twice and the best results are published

• Almost all of the engines are 64-bit (Bmi2, POPCNT used where available)

• The average time of test duration (per engine) takes over than 120 minutes

• OTS (including SCCT) are the first-ever opening competions organized...
