Computer sphagetti Project 365 Day 96
You know how it goes; you start with just a computer and monitor and then you add a printer (or two), speakers, a router, an iPod (or two), a webcam, an UPS (or two), a scanner, connections for your digital camera(s), a USB drive, a PDA, a USB card reader, a wireless access point, network cable for your netbook and pretty soon you have spaghetti wiring. It’s not a big problem until you want to change something and then you have to work out what connects to what and which wire supplies power and so on. Then of course you have to find enough power sockets and USB ports for all this stuff. So you add more power strips and USB hubs making a bad situation even worse. I dread the thought of decorating in the spare room. To do a proper job I’d have to disconnect all this stuff and make a mental note of where it all joins up so I can put it together again. Maybe I’ll just paint around it all!
