Just finished making/installing Busbar Interconnects
Interconnected the 12.8 volt nominal battery packs together in parallel & serial configuration, to lessen the amount of cellular shunt regulators required. It's now, officially a 200Ah 48volt LiFePO4 pack. Currently it's sitting at 52 vdc. Next the tedious chore of installing the 16ea, LiFePO4 Shunt Regulators. I'm told that the converter should inject at least 15amps, into any EV as long as it's traction pack is rated under 170vdc when fully charged. I hope for closer to 20 amps into my E-Celica's 120vdc pack. IE: 3000 watts / 130vdc = 23.07 amps

Had this idea for a tag along range extender for electric cars. You could even rent one. If you have an EV only car and want to take a trip, hook up a small diesel generator trailer and go. This trailer could include extra storage which makes the unit much more practical. The benefits also are that you aren't hauling around a range extender engine that you may rarely use like in the case of the Chevy Volt. Diesel is more efficient for generators and one could use biodisel.
