Rules

By commenting you agree to the following: That you will strive keep the discussion as civil and friendly as possible and to respect others as if you are having a conversation in person.  That you will not make comments that are exceptionally rude, attacking, or baiting to other commenter.  That you will not go after people with personal attacks for not agreeing with you.  You will try to address their points calmly and not resort to name-calling.  That you will not respond to name-calling by lowering yourself to that person's level and calling them names back.  Instead of firing back a heated response, you will report comments that you feel are harassing or mean.

Use the "contact admin" link at the top of the blog, or email to comoprovince@gmail.com to ask the moderators to investigate for removal any comment you feel is offensive - offensive is defined as two or more crumbs complaining.  A crumb is defined as anyone with a registered ID who has posted twice or more and is generally accepted to be part of our community (Aisle.)

We also gently remind all commentators that we are an international readership, sometimes things do not translate well, - for example humor and sarcasm – the response may be confusion rather than anger.

That you will not post pornographic, obscene, defamatory, abusive, racist or bigoted comments.  That you will not post spam or commercial comments at all.

You may post brief excerpts with links, but please not more than one paragraph.  If you have a link you feel should be converted to a post - leave the link in the cbox for an Admin to find, though not all links will be converted to posts.  Links of photo sites and articles should be left in the Free-for-All thread unless they specifically relate to the article - example - George on the set and a photo site has a wealth of photos not yet posted.  Link only with a comment would be acceptable.

No links to Getty Images.  No exceptions. They will be deleted on sight, without warning.

That you will use only one name on the site.  This is a bannable offense, and is easily found out.  That you are solely responsible for your own comments.  If you violate the law or are guilty of defamation, you may be held legally responsible.  That you will indemnify Clooney's Cookies from any responsibility for damages resulting from comments made on this site.  Should the occasion arise we will cooperate with the appropriate legal authorities.

Comments may be deleted for any reason.  Moderators reserve the right to remove comment, without explanation or direct contact via email or cbox, that violate the general rules along with ANY comments deemed distracting, inappropriate, off topic, rude, or end any conversation that has wandered too far from it’s topic or has become overly private.  Free-for-All is for general, off topic conversation.

Comments are sporadically moderated due to abuse, complaints, spam, and troll.  Clooney's Cookies and its moderators will not be held liable for comments in any way, no Admin will release real names, locations, countries, or other personal information on any commentator to any other commentator.  Any comments here are the property of the person who makes the comment, they are not to be used for commercial purposes without the prior consent of the original commentator.  We will not knowingly cooperate with authors of any articles, books, magazines etc and should any be on The Aisle, they do not have our permission to use information discussed here without identifying themselves as authors looking for information.  To do so would be unethical and a breach of the trust of the other "crumbs."  Upon finding any one using the The Aisle for their own purposes, they will be "outted" and their posts/comments removed.  Without warning.

We believe in crediting information and licensing picture sources and try to include both source and [via] links in every post.  If you are the owner of any copyrighted article or photo and feel you are not properly credited, or want your property removed from the blog, use either the "contact Admin link" above.
