About Our Chalice
Welcome to Community Unitarian Universalist Church. We are a people of faith with open minds, loving hearts and helping hands. CUUC has been a part of the Tri-Cities since 1948, helping families explore world religions, human diversity, ethics and responsible living. We keep our minds open to the religious questions people have struggled with in all times and places. We believe that personal experience, conscience, and reason should be the final authorities in religion. In the end, religious authority lies not in a book, person, or institution, but in ourselves.
Our church is also accredited as a Welcoming Congregation. We work to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans-gender community. We invite you to come worship with us.
CUUC's services and programs support each person's life-long growth and spiritual learning. Our differing strengths and gifts join to form a caring and vibrant community. We invite you to see our Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.
CUUC is now on Facebook!

Mansfield will finish his contract with Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa, Florida and then join us as our resident minister living here in the Tri-Cities.
Alternative Gift Fair
Thank you for your support of the Alternative Gift Fair, which over 9 years has raised over $140,000 for local & national charities. Please come help us celebrate 10 years of giving in 2016 - December 3rd from noon to 4:00. Giving reflects the true spirit of the holiday season. This event brings together our congregation and our community to lift up and support the wonderful work that all these charities do in our community and beyond. (November 2016)

To Our Visitors
Welcome! Join us for a Sunday service at 10:30am and stay for our Coffee Hour immediately following the service. Here you will find men and women of many backgrounds, who gather to be in a religious community. Here, we need not believe alike in order to belong. We often say that in Unitarian Universalism we do not all seek to come to the same answers, nor need we, but we want the ethical and personal values we carry with us to be refined within a religious community which honors freedom of belief and freedom of conscience. Those of us on Sunday morning--minister and lay speaker alike--have the task of presenting religion freely and fearlessly. Listeners have the responsibility to test what they hear, not only within their reason, but also in the living of everyday life.
Please view our brochure here. For more information, please email our office, or call ahead (509.545.6777) to get information and schedule an appointment to tour the facility. You are always welcome to visit any Sunday service at 10:30am. You also may view our Church Use Policy or download the Church Use Application Packet here.
