CNC’s Favorite Play Dough Recipe:

2 cups water
4 tablespoons oil
Food coloring of your choice
2 cups Flour
½ cup salt
4 teaspoons cream of tartar

Mix together the water, oil and food coloring in a cooking pot. Add the dry ingredients and stir until smooth (will be ‘soupy’). Cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly, until it forms a dough ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat. Put on counter top. When cool enough….knead until smooth. Ready to play! Store in an airtight container or bag. Note: this recipe may be doubled to make a larger batch.
