Welcome to the Communication and ART adherence site!

Workshop Date: 18-19 January 2012

This site is set up  to support the workshop on provider-client interaction and adherence to antiretroviral therapy in resource poor and rich settings, which took place at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, on January 18 and 19, 2012.

We had a very exciting line up of speakers (see Documents); practitioners with experience of fostering adherence to ART in resource-poor and -rich settings, and academics who have studied provider-client interaction, using conversation analysis.  By synthesizing  insights derived from practice and research, we seek  to gain better understanding of how provider-client interaction matters for adherence to ART.
