BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD of NORTH CAROLINA HEADQUARTERS,
Chapel Hill, NC

Commissioning of 3 buildings on their Durham campus.






BLUFORD STEM ACADEMY, Greensboro, NC

The commissioned systems on Bluford included a series of water

source heat pumps in a renovation tied in with the replacement

of a cooling tower and pumps, and installation of a new controls

system that was done in phases that allowed the school to remain

open over a year and a half period.  As the phases were done we

completed each phase. 


GUILFORD COUNTY SHERIFF SPECIAL OPERATIONS FACILITY,
Greensboro, NC

Hired by Guilford County to review the HVAC system installation at the
Special Operations Building that was recently finished for the sheriff’s
department, verify the installation of the controls and ensure all
installed building systems are working properly.

NOVANT MEDICAL CENTER - Kernersville, NC

Retro-Commissioning - The project was to observe the building’s
present operation and maintenance strategies and practices in an
attempt to find cost effective improvements that can be implemented
primarily by the owner’s building staff and service contractors. It did
not include extensively investigating or implementing capital
improvements. 






WILKES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, North Wilkesboro, NC 

Design and commission rework of OR Suite controls w/DDC overlaid
on pneumatic, addition of in-line chilled water coils, and application of
Energy Recovery Ventilator to better control humidity and temperature
in Operating Rooms. 



CARRBORO CENTURY CENTER, Carrboro, NC

Provision of engineering guidance and commissioning services for
energy efficiency and equipment upgrades on the Century Center. 
Provided an analysis of whether a geothermal retrofit is a viable option
for the Town to consider.


DEPT. OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, WESTGATE OFFICE CENTER,
Durham, NC

Commissioning of MEP for 2nd floor renovation for the Dept. of

Veterans Affairs in Durham, NC



NCSU BUREAU OF MINES

Comprehensive renovation to a 1945 building to house College of
Sciences administrative offices, will correct system deficiencies (fire
suppression, HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Additional scope includes;
new elevator, ADA entrance/exits as well as window replacement.
LEED Silver certification will be pursued.


RAGSDALE HIGH SCHOOL HVAC PROJECT, Jamestown, NC

The Ragsdale High School addition and renovation project provided
much needed repairs and additional square footage to the 50-year-old
high school. After Jamestown Middle School, which shared the same
campus, was re-located to a new site, the high school expanded into
 the old middle school building. This project saw the complete
renovation of the existing middle school and high school buildings,
as well as the construction of a new link building containing offices
and a media center. The school is now one contiguous, modernized f
acility. Part of the old high school building was torn down and
reconstructed as an autism wing.

SOUTHEAST GUILFORD HIGH SCHOOL - Greensboro, NC

Performed retro commissioning of the HVAC units recently installed

at Southeast Guilford High School. The project was completed in

October 2015 and included the following:

 

•New standalone 8,000 sf Performing Arts Bldg with RTUs

•17 Classrooms renovated with individual RTU AC units installed

•New 4,200 sf field house/concessions bldg. with RTUs
