TEC is a three-day faith-nourishing event that is held twice a year.  It is designed specifically to connect young people with Christ, and to further help these young people identify and take a personal ownership of their own roles in the body of Christ.  TEC weekends are led almost entirely by the teens and young adults who have attended previous TECs under the guidance of Lutheran pastors, who act as spiritual directors to the weekend. As participants journey through the weekend, they experience the worship life of our faith - confession, absolution, prayer, singing, the Scriptures, offering, and the Lord's Supper.

The TEC experience takes place over the course of a three-day weekend.

On Friday, we experience Die Day – a deep exploration of the themes of confession, absolution, and baptism.

“By our Baptism, then, we were buried with him and shared in his death.” Romans 6:4

On Saturday, we celebrate Rise Day – during which we examine and experience the joy of Christ’s resurrection in the Easter story.

“Just as Christ was raised from death by the glorious power of the Father, so also we might live a new life.”  Romans 6:4

Sunday is Pentecost-themed Go Day – during which we affirm our baptism and are sent out into the world.

“As the Father sent me, so I send you.”  John 20:21
