Community Quilts

Traditionally quilters have given of their craft to those in need.  At Columbine Quilt Guild our members proudly carry on this grand tradition.  Since 2006 we have made and donated 70+ quilts every year.



                  Here are some of the 2016 Community Quilts that have already been made for donations!

Our Annual Sew-In was held during our regular meeting time on February 8.  We had a fun evening - check out the photos in the slideshow below.

Listed below are the sizes of quilts we need for the remainder of this year for our three facilities:

  • RALSTON HOUSE - Anywhere from 36" x 36" (toddler size) to 52" - 68" wide by 52" - 78" long (lap/throw sizes).  They would like approximately five per month with more teen sizes than toddler sizes.

  • LUTHERAN HOME - Anywhere from 52" - 68" wide by 52" - 78" long.  No word on how many quilts they would like per month as of now.

  • ARISING HOPE - Anywhere from 36" x 36" (toddler size) to 52" - 68" wide by 52" - 78" long (lap/throw sizes).  They would like approximately fice adult sizes and between six to eight child sizes per month.
