I'm new to photoshop so, I'm investigating different tuturials to see what effects can be made. I think there's plenty of potential with changing the background - play with size, style and perception. I think there are problems too -- pictures can look too flat

Flower from the Assiniboine Park Conservatory. I have taken pictures of this type of flower before, but usually from the other angle. Looks like a different flower all together this way
