Our Beginner Security Councils will assess how the international community should respond to two failed, but still sovereign, states: Libya and South Sudan, both of which can trace their current situations to previous international involvement. Our Intermediate Future Council will react to a nuclear catastrophe in the Middle East that threatens the environment, humanitarian needs, and political stability. Our Intermediate European Union Council will consider reforming the EU’s refugee policy and discuss the possible effects of a growing right-wing, anti- EU movement within EU countries. Our Advanced NATO Summit will respond to a cyber security crisis that challenges delegates to contemplate the long-term role of NATO.
