Session Proposals

We are pleased to announce that the theme for this year’s Colorado Language Arts Society Regional Fall Conference is Teaching Tomorrow’s Voices. This year’s theme allows participants to address and navigate the hard to ignore fact that we are teaching at a particularly pivotal moment in education and in our nation in general. Because of this, teachers are in a position to foster the voices that will soon become crucial decision makers in our local and global communities. Furthermore, our students increasingly need the opportunities, skills, and platforms to give voice to their own lives and experiences in order to strengthen empathy and understanding among individuals. And yet, to best accomplish all of this, teachers are also increasingly aware of the need for practices that develop their own voices in terms of sustainability as well as self-advocacy in our profession.

We are accepting proposals for 75-minute sessions through June 30, 2019. Presenters will be notified of acceptance in late July.
