Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Instructor

•Provides instruction in to adult education students. 

Plans, implements, documents and evaluates instructional practices, procedures and materials. Provides direct supervision of academic assistants.

 A detailed description will be provided upon request.

• Instructor will be paid $20/hour for 6-12 hours per week.

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree.

Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Instructional Aide

• Works under the supervision of a site supervisor or classroom instructor. A detailed

description will be provided upon request.

• Instructional aide will be paid $12/hour for 6-12 hours per week.

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

• Bilingual preferred.

Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Site Facilitator

• Assists coordinator, teachers, aides, and students in various aspects of the program. A

detailed description will be provided upon request.

• Site Facilitators will be paid $20/hour for 6-12 hours per week.

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• Bilingual preferred.

National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week raises public awareness of adult education and family literacy, assists adult learners in need of literacy services, leverages local resources, and supports increased access to adult education and family literacy programs. Advocates across the country use this opportunity to elevate adult education and family literacy nationwide with policymakers, the media, and the community.

For 2015, National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week will be celebrated September 21st-26th.
