About the bedrooms: The Master bedroom on the main floor, Bedroom A, has two bright windows and a large closet. Across the hall is the linen closet and a newly renovated bathroom that you would share with the occupant of Bedroom B, which also has two bright windows. Basement Bedroom C has been newly renovated to include a large closet with ample hanging space and shelving, and a large emergency egress window and shares a bathroom with the occupant of Bedroom D, which has also been newly renovated, to include a large emergency egress window.
Larger surrounding area: aside from the excellent proximity to transportation services, we are advantageously positioned between DC and Baltimore, with great access to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in SE DC, as well as Fort Meade in MD. We can drive down to Chinatown (NW DC) and find parking all within 15 minutes. We frequent the suburbs and downtown Baltimore and downtown Annapolis, which takes only a half hour. The house is also less than a 15-20 min drive to Fort Meade, less than a 20 min drive to Elkridge, a 20 minute drive to Silver Spring; 1/2 an hour to other Montgomery County points, and a 1/2 hour drive to Anne Arundel County.

About the house: 4br/2ba, 2/1 on each level respectively. From a past tenant:
"The kitchen is a really good size with an electric stove and oven, a dishwasher, microwave and plenty of counter space. There is also an additional fridge should the extra space be needed. The front and backyards are spacious in addition to the deck that comes off of the sunny dining room, and there is plenty of driveway & street parking (both are free)."Click here for the main floor plan. The two main floor bedrooms share a full bath, with an adjacent hallway linen closet available for your use. There is a den/TV room, a dining room, and kitchen also located on the main floor. The main floor walks out to a deck and backyard. The two bedrooms in the basement (click here for a floor plan). Both basement bedrooms are newly renovated: one bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, desk, desk chair, hangers, lamp and night tables; the other bedroom (same in size) is furnished with a futon. There is a full bathroom in the basement that those two bedrooms would share. There is also a den (pics 1 2 3) and laundry room (includes a mini fridge, washer and dryer) located in the basement. The very long driveway is shared with our neighbor, street parking (free) may be required for some tenants. Monthly utilities are tenant's/s' responsibility, and the house is served by Verizon FiOS fiber optic cable for high-speed Internet and cable (although choice of provider is left up to the house consensus).
Immediate area: the house is very conveniently located off of 495 (Capitol Beltway), 95, 295, 50, Rte 1 and 193, within very close driving distance to the Metro's Green Line, in the small and safe municipality of Berwyn Heights, right outside of College Park (home of UMD & the Terps!). The College Park-UMD Metro station (on the Green Line, also houses a Marc Train station) is less than a 5 minute drive. The house is directly on a bus route ("The Bus" Route 16--> Greenbelt Metrorail Station/New Carrollton Metrorail Station (*click for the PDF*), please call ahead to make sure the route is still operational); as well as only a 5 minute drive from the Ikea in College Park, a Target across the street, a drive-thru Starbucks(!!) and several grocery stores (Shoppers and Giant Food - with great Peapod delivery service!). we are less than 1 mile from UMD’s campus if you need to take undergraduate/graduate courses at UMD-CP or UMUC. Lastly, gorgeous Lake Artemesia, a short walk from the house, is a great locale for walking your dog, running or taking advantage of the wooded bike trails.
