Parents' Guides to New Testing
You'll be hearing lots of information this school year about new tests that 3rd-5th grade students be assessed on in April of 2015. CRCT will no longer be used for end-of-year testing. We will begin using the Georgia Milestones Assessment System. Along with a new test, you'll be hearing about Student Growth Percentiles (SGP's). In fact, last year, an SGP was sent home for 4th and 5th grade students. Below is a link to help you learn more about the new test and a video that offers more details about SGP's.

New CCRPI Data Unveiled
The state of Georgia recently released its CCRPI scores for the 2012-2013 school year (last year). We were so happy to see our score rise tremendously, and our current score places us above the state and district average for elementary schools. We are so appreciative for the hard work of our teachers, students, and parents. We also recognize that a school is more than a number/score that comes largely from a single test. We want to continue to see our scores rise, but more importantly, we want to continue making Cohutta a place where students and parents feel loved and cared for. When students feel loved, they feel motivated, and when they are motivated, there's nothing we can't achieve. If you want to see details about the 2012-2013 CCRPI score, please visit:
