The introduction of the concept of cognitive radio networks has provided a solution to the problem of spectrum scarcity. Cognitive radio networks optimally use the radio spectrum due to the ability to adapt to the environment. In my research i am studying the problem of coexistence among collocated non-cooperative independent cognitive radio networks using a game theoretic model. The solution to this problem which i am working on relies on the channel assignment of the nodes and the evaluation of results using game theoretic techniques.

I am a student of MS (communication systems engineering) at National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. I have worked in a couple of organization in the telecom industry securing some experience on networks. Currently, I am a Research Assistant in the cognet lab at the IP Center of Excellence at School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), N.U.S.T.
