Welcome to Code Jam to Google I/O for Women!

Women today are building technology that changes the world. That’s why, for the second year, we’re hosting Code Jam to I/O for Women, a national coding competition in which professional and student programmers are asked to solve algorithmic challenges in a limited amount of time. The competition will give more women the opportunity to join us at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco on May 28th and 29th. Google's Code Jam to I/O for Women will challenge female coders residing in the United States to compete for one of 100 coveted tickets to the sold-out Google I/O conference and a $500 travel stipend. Don’t delay, register now before the competition on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at 10:00 AM PST.

If you’re new to Code Jam or in need of a little practice to increase your chances of winning one of the 100 I/O tickets we’re giving away, consider trying your hand at past problems from our Global Code Jam. You are also encouraged to review as well as the Quick-Start Guide to help you prepare.

Please note that if you've already registered for and/or are currently competing in Global Code Jam, you will still need to register for Code Jam to I/O for Women. Participation in one contest does not preclude participation in the other.
