Welcome to Coach English's P.E. page. The links to the left will allow you to access the grading rubric that is utilized in determining students' grades. Also, there are links to the P.E. brochure outlining the rules and procedures, including dress code, behavior, and special events. Additionally, one will find a link to my classroom management plan, along with some links dealing with physical activity, proper stretching, the food pyramid, and the fitness testing chart that will be used to test 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders later in the year.

It is my goal to provide students with fun and exciting activities that will increase their overall fitness and lead them to a lifetime of healthy living.

Students are expected to particpate in all P.E. activities, even if they feel they are not good at the activity. Please help your child by reminding them that continuous participation helps to ensure a high mark in P.E. My goal is  for every student to enjoy physical activity and gain confidence in his or her abilities.

Please contact me via school email or by phone if you have any questions. Together, I hope we can make this year a very fun and positive one for you and your child.

If you really want to do something, you'll find a way; if you don't, you'll find an excuse.
