Send off for the athletes heading to Nationals in Quebec!
Teams of 3 skiers/biathletes will be assigned.  Categories are - skiers born in 1998 and younger   OR skiers born in 1997 and older.  Cost $5. with one hamburger for lunch.  Register with Pierre Beaudry to be placed on a team.
Meet 9:30 am at range for zeroing and course set up.

The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club finished off a great weekend of early season competitions at the Biathlon North American Cup #1 competition held in Canmore Alberta on Saturday and Sunday. The weather was spectacular and trail conditions were good (a bit more snow would have been better). The results are as follows:

Senior Girls - 6 km Sprint
5th Emily Dickson (Burns Lake)
14th Leah Forsdick (PG)
Elizabeth Czechmeister (PG), could not finish because of health challenges.

Temperature Cut-off

Temperature cutoffs are: Below –18 C on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30pm on the club website:  which means if it is –18 C we will be skiing.
Below –20 C on Saturday at 8:30am. For shooting the cut off is -15 C at 8:30 am. Then the biathletes will be skiing if still in ski temperature range.
Since Saturday will warm up but the evening will be cooling down.
