Dear EAGLES Members,
It has been a while since I posted. We have been through a lot this last year. Our last negotiation resulted in a mutual agreement to extend the contract a year with no changes. We also missed a vote on board members due in part to Covid and stay at home orders etc. I asked Joy Wiser and Ria if they would be willing to stay on until we could have another formal election and they kindly agreed. It seems I to would be in this category and will act as the EAGLES President until an official vote can be held. Someone needs to and so I will continue.
The EAGLES negotiations team recently had a summary meeting of a possible two year agreement that we felt looked good considering our current economic reality. We will likely be holding a Zoom meeting once we have something more finalized snd then will have a vote on it. If you have additional questions you can reach out to the board. We will be able to share more details soon, probably in the next week or two.
