4/9/2013: second set of statistics notes are up - stats2.pdf (including material on MCMC and Fisher matrices that we didn't cover in class).
3/19/2013: kinematics.pdf contains the lecture notes from 3/19 on dynamical measurements of galaxies and clusters.
3/5/2013: cluster_abundance.pdf and lensing_overflow.pdf are the lecture notes from 2/28, in which we discussed cluster abundance measurements, and also some of the left-over material about lensing measurements. cluster_abundance_2.pdf is from 3/5.
2/21/2013: supernovae.pdf and supernovae_2.pdf are the supernova lectures. The second one includes some slides we didn't cover in class. The paper that we went through during class time (about difference imaging) can be found at http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2000A%26AS..144..363A
2/12/2013: weak_lensing.pdf is the weak lensing lecture, which includes a bunch of slides we didn't cover in class.
2/7/2013: strong_lensing.pdf is the strong lensing lecture, which includes 3 slides at the end that we didn't cover in class. It doesn't include the derivations that I showed on the board, but I will try to scan those and upload a PDF soon.
2/5/2013: stats.pdf is the statistics lecture from today (plus some bits that I didn't cover).
1/31/2013: CMB_I, CMB_II, Survey_I, Survey_II are all posted. We didn't get to cover spectroscopy yet, but hopefully you will take some time to read about them.
