Project #1:

Current Progress: While originally planning to focus on the Printrbot Simples we have here at school, I broadened my view and branched out into different fields related to 3D Printing / technology.

4th Quarter:

A.) Displayed 3D Printers to school donors and school personnel at a WAEF function.

B.) Presented to the public our use of 3D printers within the classroom at the annual PAECT student showcase in May.

C.) Arranged to meet with our State Legislators; Sen. Judith Schwank & Rep. Mark Gillen.

D.) Designed and 3D Printed personalized Keystone gifts for each of our Legislators.

E.) Explained 3D Printing to 3rd & 4th Graders at the Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center's Science Day.

3rd Quarter:

A) Presented to the public on our curricular use of 3D Printers in the classroom at the 2015 PETE & C Student Showcase in Hershey, PA.

B) Learned how to design a 3D Printed phone case using the Blender open-source design software.

C) Gained valuable expierence using the Makerbot Replicator 2x to print phone case prototypes.

D) Applied and accepted to the PAECT Student Showcase at the Capitol in May.

E) Learned to code in JavaScript on CodeAcademy.
