The Club Pool Association or CPA has been in operation since 1973

Typically clubs in the association are within the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.

The CPA runs an eight-ball pool competition during the winter months.

Matches are played on Wednesday nights starting at 7:30pm. Matches are played under The World Eight-Ball Pool Federation rules.

Each team has at least 5 players and there are 25 frames in a match.
