Spring 2017 Newsletter and Pool Information

2017 Spring / Summer Newsletter
Read the Clopper's Mill HOA Newsletter for more information about new pool management, pool pass applications, a pool survey, and more.

Pool Application and Rules
Pool Applications must be returned by May 1, 2017 to allow time to process passes/stickers for opening day. Applications received after the May 1st deadline, may not be available for pickup at the pool on opening day and may be mailed to the owner. All Applications received after opening day, May 27th, will be mailed to the owner of record.

The 2017 Pool Season runs from Saturday, May 27th to Monday, September 4th. Pool Hours are Monday-Sunday 10 am - 8 pm; School day hours are 3 pm - 8 pm. Questions regarding your pool pass? Please call Pamela Webber at 301-963-3337 or via email at pamela.mw@pmpbiz.com. Review the pool rules

Stormwater Maintenance 1/5/2017 - 2/3/2017

Residents of the Cloppers Mill Community are advised that EQR, a stormwater maintenance contractor, will be in the area between 1/5/2017 and 2/3/2017 to make necessary repairs on the stormwater ponds/filters within the community as directed by Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection. These improvements are necessary in order to maintain the proper functionality of the facilities. EQR will use low-impact machinery to complete repairs and access the repair sites through the county right-of-ways where accessible.

The Clopper's Mill Community Association Newsletter - Spring 2016 edition was recently mailed to all residents and is also available online. This edition features news and information on: parking, the upcoming pool season, spring inspections, and more. Download a copy and share with others who may have missed it!

If you did not receive a newsletter as a resident, you are encouraged to register for an account on the PMP website (https://myaccount.pmpbiz.com). Creating an account allows you to receive notifications directly from the Community Manager, ask questions, and view other important community documents. For further questions on how to register, contact they may either contact the Community Manager or click “Help” on the login screen.

2016 Pool Pass Application and Swim Team

Pool Pass Application

All Clopper's Mill residents are welcome to fill out the 2016 Pool Application. This application was also mailed to all residents in early March 2016. Note: do not send in pictures larger than 1x1 in.

You may be used to having your stickers or passes mailed to you, but this year, for your convenience, if you get your application into the PMP office by May 1st, your passes or stickers will be available at the pool on opening day in order to save on mailing costs. After opening day, all passes and stickers will be mailed to the resident address. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pamela Webber, our administrative assistant at PMP by email at pamela.mw@pmpbiz.com.

Snow Policy Reminder

Please (view the full snow policy) and take note of the tips listed below. 

Please lend a hand to your neighbors and be safe during the storm:
  1. Keep the main entrance and driving lanes of the community open for ingress/egress (entrance/exit).
  2. When the snow stops and after a number of vehicles have departed, our snow contractor will return to clear the main driving areas. The snow contractor is not contracted to and will not plow parking spaces due to the snow (particularly wet snow) possibly causing damage. 
  3. Follow-up visit(s) may be warranted for more plowing or apply materials to the streets and roads.
  4. Once the snow has stopped, association-owned sidewalks will be cleared.
  5. If a vehicle is abandoned in a street or driving lane, the snow plow contractors will plow around it as best they can.
  6. Reminder: it is impossible to plow snow and not leave a mound behind parked vehicles, especially in town home sections.
