We'd like to thank all of our backers. YOU ROCK! It has been less than a week, and we've already raised 93% of our fundraising goal of $1111! It looks very promising for ClockTHREE to become a reality.
Anool is building up one of the HARDCORE ClockTWO prototype boards so that we can make final adjustments to the ClockTHREE design files. If you look closely, you can see some of the 704 drilled out holes on each board. We will be ready for the smoke test* and blink test** next week. Anool will be testing each row of RGB LEDs as he solders them in.
*A smoke test is performed the first time a board is powered up. Most integrated circuits are filled with magic smoke to make them work. When the smoke escapes they no longer work.
**A blink test is a simple test to blink the debug LED. A successful blink test means that the micro controller is powered and functioning and is able to perform a simple action.
