Our Gatherings

Sunday Morning Service

  • 9:45 AM: Topical Bible Study
  • 10:30 AM:  Main Service
Our Sunday morning services feature:
  • Casual atmosphere
  • Upbeat, contemporary praise and worship music
  • Practical and relevant yet "deep" Biblical messages
  • Classes for younger children during the main service
  • Sharing times and communion once a month
  • Ocassional dramas and other special activities
Children are welcome to stay in the main service or attend classes. Children who attend classes stay in the main service during worship and then attend classes during the sermon. In addition, a nursery is available during the entire service for the youngest children.

Normally on the last Sunday of each month, our service includes a time of partaking the bread and cup in remembrance of our Savior as well as a "sharing time" in which all are welcome to share what God is teaching them. These services conclude with a time of praying for one another.

Fellowship Meals

Fellowship meals provide an opportunity to get to know one another better, encourage one another, apply God's Word to our lives, and pray for one another. Typically these meals take place twice a month right after our Sunday worship service. The location of the meal rotates between the church building, the homes of various families, and a couple local parks where we have picnics in the spring, summer, and fall. See What's Happening for the latest meeting times and locations.

Small Group Studies

Several groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am to study and fellowship together.  The main group is open to everyone; recent topics of study have included The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, the First Epistle of John, and a video series entitled The Life and Ministry of the Messiah.  There are also two small groups for teens which meet at this time: one for guys and one for girls.  Both groups incorporate Bible study and prayer and emphasize building meaningful relationships among the members. Periodically additional small groups are formed that meet at people's homes.

College Student Activities

Brian Bridgeman serves with us to mentor and reach out to college students at Clemson, Tri-County Tech, Southern Wesleyan University, and Anderson University.

At Clemson University, we are a recognized student organization. We offer small group Bible/life groups meeting on and off campus. Contact Brian to learn about the current meeting times and locations. We are eager to form additional small groups at Clemson or one of the other nearby universities - just ask!

We also provide additional opportunities for fellowship on campus - see the calendar or the facebook page for the latest happenings or contact Brian.

We offer rides to the church, home fellowships, and  other activities off campus.

Our college students are also encouraged to participate in our various churchwide ministries including outreach events, drama productions, and our worship team, and many do so.
