I am a sociologist and currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies.
I received my doctoral degree in Sociology at the University of Mannheim, Germany in 2010. Since then, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Mannheim and a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Harvard University.
My fields of specialization are labor markets, social stratification, political economy, welfare states, population health and quantitative methods. My research interests center around the effect of institutions and policies on labor market outcomes, skill formation and health.
