General Information

I graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 with a BS in Mathematics and completed a PhD in Operations Research at UF in 2007 under Dr. Panos Pardalos. In 2010, I completed a year of post-doctoral research in the lab of Dr. Michael Knowles at the University of North Carolina Cystic Fibrosis Pulmonary Disease Research and Treatment Center in Chapel Hill, NC. I graduated from the UNC School of Medicine in 2014. I remained at UNC for training, completing an internship in General Surgery in 2015. I graduated from the Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency in the Department of Radiology in 2020. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Interventional Radiology at UNC.

  • I will be giving the November monthly seminar in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida. My talk will be "From OR to the OR: How Optimization is Shaping Modern Medicine". The talk is November 10, 2016. Click HERE for the abstract.
  • I was awarded the 2017 Resident-in-Training award from the Society of Interventional Radiology.
  • I was awarded the 2017 RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award at UNC Chapel Hill.
