CZECHOSLOVAKIA 1st level alltimetable 1934/35-37/38 and 1945/46-92/93

The table was created by material found at the RSSSF. The 1948 fall season is not counted as it was not played through due to reorganization and no champion was decided either Also note that no seasons prior to 1934/35 are counted as they did not cover the whole of the country. The table was corrected in December 2016.

General notes

Czechoslovakia came into being after WW1. Until the setup of the truly national league in 1934, only regional leagues were organised. During the seasons 1938/39 - 1944/45 Czechoslovakia was divided into the proctorate of Bohemia-Moravia under German rule and Slovakia. 1938/39-1943/44: See the Bohemia/Moravia file. 1944/45: No championship because of the Soviet invasion. 1961/62: A relegation playoff was necessary between Dynamo Zilina & Spartak Praha Sokolov as they ended on equal points and the rules stipulated a playoff when that happened. Spartak Praha Sokolovo won 2-0, the game is counted in the table. 1964/65: Sparta Praha had 2 points deducted. 1968/69: Dukla Banska Bystrica had 2 points deducted.
