Welcome to MCDB 1B Tutorial!

How to use the posted Asynchronous CLAS materials effectively:

1. Try the worksheet ON YOUR OWN after watching the corresponding lecture(s). Don't use notes or slides at first, try to answer them on your own. This helps you self-evaluate where you're really at, a key skill for intro bio students.
2. Once you've tried the questions on your own, you can use the key to check your answers. This is where you find out where your gaps are. The keys have the bare minimum, just enough information to let you check if you're right or wrong.
3. Go ahead and watch the in-depth solutions videos after attempting your own solutions. These will help solidify info/give another explanation to the things you looked up on your own.
4.  There are also Video Animations posted for some topics.  You can use them to introduce a topic and watch before doing the worksheets and again later for review.

A successful MCDB 1B student will give themselves the chance to struggle with the material before jumping to the solutions!
