Welcome
I am a faculty member in the Department of Biology at University of Minnesota Duluth. I am an ecologist, with an emphasis on population biology. I am particularly interested in how variation among individuals in a population relates to fluctuations in the size of the population through time and space. Together with students and colleagues, I have explored this in a number of vertebrate species. My current teaching duties include Evolution (BIOL 3401), Ecology & Evolution (BIOL 2410) and Ornithology (BIOL 4763). My office and lab are located in James I. Swenson Science Building (SSB) (Room 11) on the UMD campus.
