About Me

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within the BACP ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy. I am based in Baildon (which is a short distance from Leeds/Bradford) and Steeton (near Keighley).

I am the mother of two children, a girl and a boy.

I have studied and trained at Hull University and Leeds Metropolitan University.  Previous work experience involves 12 years of teaching in secondary and higher education, office based work in business environments and more recently, the role of manager, co-ordinating a professional counselling service which spans the whole of Yorkshire.  I have worked as a counsellor for several years in voluntary counselling organisations and have been in private practice since 2006.
