All students should be able to read notation but
tablature will be supplied where necessary on request
Premises are organised and paid for (where
necessary) by the person or organisation that engages the tutor
Any other services, such as food, are arranged
by the person or organisation that engages the tutor
Fees are collected by the person or organisation
that books engages the tutor
Fees are paid in full at the end of the session
(or when convenient)
The fee is £5 per hour for each student
I charge a basic fee of £20 for travelling
expenses within the Glasgow City area.
The shortest booking period is 2 hours (which
includes a 15 minute break)
The longest would be 4 hours (and a 30 minute
break (negotiable) would be added to that time although not charged – in this
case I only charge for the ‘contact’ hours)
The minimum fee would be £70 plus travelling
expenses (£20) for a 2 hour session (regardless of numbers attending)
Workshop fees - some examples
These examples should help you to work out how much it
will cost to employ me as a workshop tutor.
Any additional students will pay the charges itemised above.

A two hour workshop for 5 students: the
minimum fee still applies (£90)
