workshop fees


Hiring me for workshops 
- the small print!
  • I am available for workshops 
  • All students should be able to read notation but tablature will be supplied where necessary on request
  • Premises are organised and paid for (where necessary) by the person or organisation that engages the tutor
  • Any other services, such as food, are arranged by the person or organisation that engages the tutor
  • Fees are collected by the person or organisation that books engages the tutor
  • Fees are paid in full at the end of the session (or when convenient)
  • The fee is £5 per hour for each student
  • I charge a basic fee of £20 for travelling expenses within the Glasgow City area.
  • The shortest booking period is 2 hours (which includes a 15 minute break)
  • The longest would be 4 hours (and a 30 minute break (negotiable) would be added to that time although not charged – in this case I only charge for the ‘contact’ hours) 
  • The minimum fee would be £70 plus travelling expenses (£20) for a 2 hour session (regardless of numbers attending)

  Workshop fees - some examples

These examples should help you to work out how much it will cost to employ me as a workshop tutor.  Any additional students will pay the charges itemised  above.

 Example 1

A two hour workshop for 5 students: the minimum fee still applies (£90)

           Example 2

A two hour workshop for 10 students.

-        That is 10 students at £10 each plus £20 travelling expenses

-        The fee is £120

-        The fee per student is £12

Example 

A four hour workshop for 10 students

-        That is 10 students at £20 each plus £20 travelling expenses

-        The fee is £220

-        The fee per student is £22
