The Angus Fraser Selection

NOTATION

I have uploaded PDF files of the tunes for the fiddle (including fingering), the cello (bass clef) and the mandolin (tablature), and there are extra parts for harmonies, 2nd fiddles, bass and cello (see links in the box on the right).

Please note:  it may be difficult to open these PDF files directly to your iPad (Google/Apple/Microsoft wars).  If you need them on your iPad download them to your desktop machine and load them up to your iPad through iTunes.

CONTACT

Please, use the 'contact' page on this site to ask any questions or to let me know if there are any mistakes or problems with the sheets.

PRONUNCIATION

One last point is worth making.  You will notice my shortened versions of the names of the tunes - I am not a Gaelic speaker.  I will make every effort to learn the correct pronunciation of the names of these tunes, if only out of respect for the Gaelic language.  A student of mine has kindly allowed me to record her speaking the names and I supply these below in case you want to have a go too.

AUDIO FILES

The audio files below represent the pieces, not as they should sound, but in a form which allows you to play along with them.  Just use them for practice purposes.

Versions of the tunes played slowly are HERE.

The ones below are the faster versions (had to move them or pay for the storage)

PLEASE NOTE: you don't have to pay anything here to play the files.
