 Creston-Kenilworth Neighborhood Emergency Team

Portland's Neighborhood Emergency Teams (NET's) are trained by the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management and Portland Fire and Rescue to provide emergency assistance after a disaster.  NET's also respond to downed power lines, warming & cooling shelters, and many civic events.  We are your neighbors.  And you can join us as a trained member or as an affiliated volunteer.

Although we are provided with free training, an identification badge, hard hat & safety vest, all other personal gear is paid for by the individual member.  However, each team is allowed to create a collective equipment cache, containing larger or more items than can be carried in their individual kits.  Examples include search & rescue equipment & extra medical supplies.  You can support the development of this cache with a tax-deductible donation.
