This practice continues for all students all year long.

When an individual student’s behavior is atypical to peers initiate a Tier 2 plan.

Before Moving to Tier 2:

Individual

Could include small group if multiple students need to target the same area.

Daily

Will vary depending on intervention provided.

Should include % of positive behavior.

Weekly

Fill out a Tier 2 plan.

Use the Tier 2 plan form to log interventions and progress monitoring data.

Continue for 2 – 4 weeks.

If the student is making progress, continue Tier 2 or return to Tier 1.

If the student is not making progress, revise Tier 2 plan and/or refer to Tier 3.

At this level, classroom teachers will continue to provide high quality, differentiated core instruction and monitor progress.

Individual

Additionally, it could include small group if multiple students need to target the same area.
