First International Workshop on Citizen Sensor Networks

Colocated at ECAI12 to be held Montpellier, France. August 27-31, 2012.

News!! The final workshop program is published.

The workshop provides a forum for policy makers, computer/telecommunications scientists, and agent researchers/developers, to assess the current state of the art in the modeling and development of citizen sensor networks, to identify where existing approaches can be successfully applied, to learn about new approaches and explore future research challenges, and to exchange in an inter-disciplinary environment.

The workshop is of interest to researchers engaged in modeling and analysis of sensor networks for society, researchers in multi-agent systems, and to researchers who are interested in applying the discussed techniques to real-world problems.

The excellent quality level of this workshop has been recognized and its proceedings will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes. CitiSen 2012 will be hosted at ECAI 2012, the 20th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence, which will take place in Montpellier, France on August 27-31, 2012. Additionally, a selection of the best papers presented at the Workshop will be considered for publishing in the Advanced Complex System Journal as a special issue.
